The Ryburgh Wildlife Group is a small group whose aim is to promote conservation and enjoyment of the wildlife in and around our lovely village. The Group is a charity (Reg No: 1074989) and membership is open to any person over the age of 18. With the current threats to the richness of our flora and fauna, the group’s role is all the more relevant and action as a part of a community all the more potentially effective.
By licence from the Sennowe Estate, the Group has created a small wetland nature reserve complete with a purpose built hide which is open to all members of the Group to use when they wish, and has several other ongoing conservation projects. Meetings are held within and around the village enjoying and appreciating our wildlife and take the form of local walks, slideshows, talks and other activities.
We need new members to join in our activities, share ideas and help with our conservation projects.
Membership may be individual (currently £10 pa) or family (currently £15 pa). Subscriptions are payable by bankers order on 1st October each year. Family membership is defined as any group of persons living under one roof.
If you would like to join the Wildlife Group then please download, print and complete our application form and return it (a “hard copy” duly signed please) to our membership secretary, David Cooling, 89 Fakenham Road, Great Ryburgh, NR21 7AQ, email: info.ryburghwildlife@gmail.com phone no: 07500 993 993.
